ALLANTOIN
Healing MoisturizerAllantoin is a chemical compound naturally produced by many organisms, including animals, plants, and bacteria. Odorless, safe, non-toxic, and non-allergenic, allantoin is moisturizing and keratolytic, meaning that it softens keratin in the skin. This property helps skin to heal more quickly and to bind moisture more effectively, making products containing allantoin useful for dry skin and for healing wounds, burns, and scars. It is also effective against sunburn, chapped lips, cold sores, diaper rash, and similar skin irritations.
CAPRIC/CAPRYLICGentle MoisturizerCapric/Caprylic is derived from coconut oil and glycerin, it’s considered an excellent emollient and skin-replenishing ingredient. It’s included in cosmetics due to its mix of fatty acids that skin can use to replenish its surface and resist moisture loss. Caprylic/capric triglyceride can also function as a thickener, but its chief job is to moisturize and replenish skin. This ingredient’s value for skin is made greater by the fact that it’s considered gentle.
CYCLOPENTASILOXANE & CYCLOTETRASILOXANE
Soothing & Moisturizing Emollient Cyclopentasiloxane and cyclotetrasiloxane are emollients that soothe and soften the skin by keeping moisture locked in. They also correct dryness by preventing water loss and prevent scaling by holding more water on the skin’s surface. They are an excellent lubricant that sufficiently stretches water layers on the surface of the skin.It is believed that cyclopentasiloxane and cyclotetrasiloxane may have some capacity to remove wrinkles and skin blemishes.
DIMETHICONOL
Silky Moisturizer Dimethiconol improves the feel, appearance, and performance of our lotions. It acts as a silky moisturizer and delivery agent for other skin care ingredients. It helps with skin irritation due to its low surface tension, meaning it spreads easily across the surface of skin and forms a protective covering, while still allowing skin to “breathe”. Oxygen, nitrogen, and other nutrients can still pass through. However, it does not allow water to pass through, which is an ideal quality for preventing dry, dehydrated skin.
GLYCERIN
Gentle MoisturizerGlycerin is a clear, viscous, water-soluble liquid which occurs widely in nature. It's a traditional cosmetic material and has been used for many years because it's so safe and effective.As a humectant, glycerin draws moisture from the air into your skin to keep it hydrated and soft. It's very mild and does not cause irritation.
HYALURONIC ACID
Powerful MoisturizerHyaluronic Acid is a naturally-occurring substance in skin known for its stunning capacity to attract and hold onto 1000x its weight in moisture. It works overtime by replenishing skin to enhance a healthy, supple look and feel.
SQUALENE (Amaranth seed)
Boosting MoisturizerOur 100% plant based Squalene mimics your skin’s natural oils, making it an excellent emollient. The antioxidants in these oils also fight skin damage and free radicals, which can both accelerate the aging process. Squalene is also a detoxifier and regular use can also boost collagen production, resulting in firmer skin. It’s also a natural antioxidant and has antitumor properties, protecting your skin from carcinogens. For Staying PowerWe use this copolymer in many of our makeup formulas for its ability to create a flexible, water-resistant finish. Acrylate Copolymer is a film-former and is used in many cosmetic products for its adhesion and water resistance.

Gold Standard Emulsifier & For Staying PowerPotassium Cetyl Phosphate is the golden standard emulsifier for emulsions (oil+water mixtures) that are difficult to stabilize. It is especially powerful in in sunscreens as it can boost SPF protection and increase the water-resistance of the formula.
